Our Story

Basically, we've dreamed of starting our own business for several years. Being die-hard Boston Sports fans - thank you Red Sox and Patriots - not to mention connisseurs of fine beer, what better business to start than an Irish Sports Pub? At that, not just any sports pub would do. We had to build it from scratch and make it the best sports pub in the area.

Since no good entrepreneur would get into a business blind, we spent three years painstakingly researching every sports pub and bar from Boston to Newport, took the best features of each and incorporated them into Mickey Doyle's Sports Pub. We wanted everyone to feel like they are watching the game in their own living room. Therefore, it had to be clean, comfortable, have a friendly staff, offer good entertainment, offer some food to munch on, have a bunch of televisions (big ones) and a huge selection of beers and drinks at decent prices.
